More than three months since my last post? That’s terrible, outrageous! A writer-friend of mine says I’m too precious with my words because I’ve never been a “working journalist,” as they learn by necessity that sometimes good enough is just that, then get over it and move on to the next assignment. This site has begun to remind me of the silkworm I was given one summer in elementary school, which I was instructed to feed leaves and observe its metamorphosis into a butterfly: I put it in my desk drawer and then forgot about it completely until weeks later, by which time I was fearful I’d reopen the drawer to find a vengeful, neglected monster. Such shall not be the fate of The Car Crush!
My client Ferrari is hosting a spectacular event this weekend in Beverly Hills, celebrating its 60th Anniversary in the USA with an exhibition of 60 of the most significant Ferraris ever built. If you happen to be in the area, the event is on Rodeo Drive on Sunday (October 12) from 10am to 4pm, and is free and open to the public. Here's a selection of gorgeous illustrations from Ferrari's Classiche department of the 60 cars to be shown.
Enjoy!
